Rev. Allen M. Ford is a native of Lake View, South Carolina. There he received his early childhood education and graduated from Lake View High School. In 1988, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably for four years and defended his country in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Calm of the Gulf War.
In 1993, Rev. Ford graduated from International Business College, Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he received a Business Diploma in Computer Accounting. In 1996, he joined Grace First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Aaron Brasfield, Jr., Pastor. In 1997, he became a Sunday School Teacher under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Walter L. Starks, Pastor. Rev. Ford was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on October 15, 2000, and later ordained on December 19, 2003.
Rev. Ford graduated from the Billy Graham School of Evangelism in August of 2008. In October of 2009, he received his certification from the Family Dynamics Institute and is now a certified marriage facilitator. He is a 2017 Graduate and Fellow of the Stephen Olford Center for Expository Preaching, Memphis, TN, and is currently enrolled in the Pastoral Care Specialist Program at Vision International University, CA. Rev. Ford received his Honorary Doctorate degree in theology from the E.L. Ford Theological Bible College, Dillon, SC,. and a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from San Antonio (TX) Theological College. He is the founder of the Grace Institute and The Transforming Word Preaching Conference.
