Children’s Church Ministry

We are J.O.Y. JUNCTION our Joy is Jesus, Others, You! We continuously praise GOD and thank HIM for our Grace First Baptist Children’s Church Ministry.

Our ministry Scripture is,

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 KJV.

Our J.O.Y. JUNCTION is an extension of Grace First Baptist Church and we are committed to, and excited about our responsibility to pray, read, share and teach GOD’s word to the children at Grace.  We want our youth to consistently grow in the Lord.  We encourage them to pray every day and often.  We also encourage the children to read GOD’s word daily.  We encourage kindness, patience and love.  Our methods to be doers of GOD’s word are Loving, Teaching, and Training. 

Our mission and our goal, is to maintain a child friendly church environment that is an extension of Grace FBC Sanctuary and to nurture, train and prepare our Grace youth to transition from children’s church to church in the Sanctuary.  We want to train Grace children to be proper disciples of The Lord Jesus Christ and to live their lives under the headship of Christ.  As we are an extension of Grace First Baptist Church, our order of service closely mimics our service in the Sanctuary.  Our Sunday lessons are rooted in the Gospels of Jesus Christ.  Our children's classes are grouped and named to encourage commitment and ownership, among the children and to facilitate faith and fun as the children form small communities with one another within their class groups.
