Men's Retreat
Location: Jordan Ranch located at 2123 FM 2238, Schulenburg, TX 78956. This is approximately 1 ½ hours from San Antonio, towards Houston. The property is ½ mile off IH-10.
Directions: Head east on IH-10 to exit 668 and then turn left onto FM 2238. Jordan Ranch will be on your right. Enter into the welcome center.
Hotel Rooms: All rooms have their own restroom, towels and linen in them.
Items you will need to bring: Bible, comfortable clothes and shoes, clothes for fitness, swimming, other activities and church on Sunday, flashlight, medication, toiletries, and personal snacks/beverages are allowed.
Registration and check-in: Thursday August 18 @ 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

The bus/van will leave the church at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18th
Other Information:
Snacks will be provided by GFBC for you throughout the weekend in the dining hall
Included: complete use of the facility, meeting rooms, sleeping quarters, meals and activities (swimming, walking trails, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, ping pong and fitness center).
You may choose your roommates; Turn in names as you register
The rates listed below are for the weekend, because the rooms must be paid for regardless of when you show up or leave, there will be no adjustment to the cost and no refunds for cancellations.
All registrations must be completed either online or in the church office along with your payment and must be paid in full by July 31, 2022

Payments are being accepted now. You can pay in full or make small payments to the church office or online to pay the balance down slowly. No refunds.
Vacation Bible School
Join us at Spark Studios where imagination is ignited, and creativity is awakened. Whether kids are exploring their artistic side in the Bible Study Studio or Crafts Design Center, laying down a track at the Music Sound Stage, or bringing inventions to life at the Missions Workshop, they will learn, like King David, to use their talents to bring glory to God. They will discover that their creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed them for His glory. Vacation Bible School will be held from August 1-5, beginning at 6:45 p.m. nightly. Registration is now available.
Education and Career Readiness Committee | Zoom Discussion - Military
Have you ever been curious about the military? If so, the Education and Career Readiness Committee would like you to join the Zoom discussion with representatives of the Navy, and the Marines, on Tuesday, June 21 at 7 pm as they provide information on military careers and ways to enter the military. All are welcome and no access codes are necessary to join the Zoom discussion.
Education and Career Readiness Committee | Basketball Game
Basketball season is not over! Come see the Grace First Baptist “Old School” basketball team attempt to “school” the “young ‘uns” on Saturday, June 18 at 10 am in the Grace MPC .The event is free, there will be snacks, and guaranteed fun. Come on out and cheer your team on to victory. Masks are required.

What is it like to go to college? Find out on Sunday, June 12 immediately following church service as college students from Grace First Baptist Church share their college experiences. The Education and Career Readiness Committee will provide free lunch for this “Lunch and Learn” event in the MPC. All parents and students are welcome to join the discussion.
